Our Mission
The Denominational Affairs Committee (DAC) is the liaison between our congregation and our denomination. It keeps our congregation informed of important issues affecting our congregation through its membership in the
Pacific Central District (PCD) and the
Unitarian Universalist Association of Congregations (UUA) .
The committee also keeps the PCD and UUA informed of our congregation’s consensus and activities regarding issues important to the welfare of our congregation and to the PCD and UUA.

How to Get Involved
Anyone interested in the activities and welfare of our congregation is welcome to attend committee meetings and interact with us.
UUA General Assembly 2009 Business
Proposed Revision of UUA Principles & Purposes
The General Assembly (GA) of the Unitarian Universalist Association will be held in Salt Lake City in June of 2009. An item of businees is the proposed revision of the UUA Bylaws, Article II, Principles & Purposes, as required by the by-laws themselves.

The Society's elected delegates to GA will have an opportunity to present the views of our congregation on this issue, prior to a vote at General Assembly.
The Denominational Affairs committee has held discussions about this proposed revision and the committee plans to broaden the discussion with interested members of the Society. Please contact the committe if you are interested in this issue, by emailing DAC@uusf.org
