Family Ministry @ UUSF
DUE TO THE COVID-19 CRISIS, OUR CHURCH AND CENTER ARE CLOSED, AND ANY IN PERSON EVENTS ARE ON HIATUS UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.
UUSF's Family Ministry helps foster the religious and spiritual needs of the whole family. Through worship, education, arts, rituals, community involvement, and fellowship, we minister to families with open hands, a loving heart and hands that are ready to serve.
Due to the COVID-19 Shelter-in-Place order, we are unable to offer in-person classes at this time. For details about current program offerings, please visit the Family Ministry program page here.
If I can be of support to you or your family, please reach out.
Family Ministry Committee Mission Statement
We seek to create beloved community, transform lives, promote justice, and foster universal values of love, respect, and responsibility for children, youth and families. With programming that engages heart, mind, and body, and working in collaboration with the wider community, we celebrate our children’s unique sense of self, their place in our wider Unitarian Universalist movement today, and for generations to come.
To this end, we will:
· Advocate for Family Ministry and build community in the broader church.
· Implement programs and processes that embody UU principles.
· Provide opportunities to engage in social action and service.
· Foster family ownership and stewardship of our Family Ministry programs.
· Welcome and support all families
