Family Ministry @ UUSF

Welcome
UUSF's Family Ministry helps foster the religious and spiritual needs of the whole family. Through worship, education, arts, rituals, community involvement, and fellowship, we minister to families with open hands, a loving heart and hands that are ready to serve.
We are excited to offer children and youth programming for all ages for the 2020-2021 church year. Our classes will be virtual. On 1st and 2nd Sundays of the month, join us for virutal class gatherings, and on 3rd Sundays, children and youth will receive a padlet (an interactive bulletin board) with links to fun resources, art activities and more. To learn more visit our program page.
You don't need to be home alone, our church community is here for you!
We welcome all families. We are committed to creating anti-racisit learning spaces, grounded in values of love, compassion, equity and justice. We hope you will join us.

Family Ministry Committee Mission Statement
We seek to create beloved community, transform lives, promote justice, and foster universal values of love, respect, and responsibility for children, youth and families. With programming that engages heart, mind, and body, and working in collaboration with the wider community, we celebrate our children’s unique sense of self, their place in our wider Unitarian Universalist movement today, and for generations to come.
To this end, we will:
· Advocate for Family Ministry and build community in the broader church.
· Implement programs and processes that embody UU principles.
· Provide opportunities to engage in social action and service.
· Foster family ownership and stewardship of our Family Ministry programs.
· Welcome and support all families
