Come to the budget meeting June 3rd! To prepare for the new church year that starts July 1st, the Membership will be asked to vote on a budget that does not take from reserves at the Budget Meeting. See the budget resolution recommended by the Board of Trustees online here.
Then on June 10th join in the celebration at the Annual Meeting to toast a warm year of growth and community.'
UPCOMING CHURCH MEETINGS
Voting Meeting on the Budget June 3rd!
Please come to this meeting where the Congregation will vote on the operating budget for the church year. Some of our leaders will be on the choir tour, so if you are in town, please come so that we can be sure we get the wisdom and approval of the membership.
Come to the Annual Meeting June 10th!
Come celebrate a warm, dynamic, and important year! Enjoy the company of fellow Unitarian Universalists as we mark the completion of the 168th year of our liberal religious community.
The meeting after the worship service will highlight fun, friends, and food!
The business portion of the meeting will include the election of Trustees and members of the Nominating Committee, decision on proposed Bylaw amendments (see proposed amendments), and possibly the final passage of the budget resolution recommended by the Board of Trustees. (The budget is scheduled to be adopted on June 3rd, but the Board wants to be able to continue the discussion to the 10th if the it seems appropriate.)
Absentee ballots for candidates for office and for the Bylaw Amendments are available in the church office.
Mark your calendars, and come on down! You’ll hear about this year’s achievements, learn more about May Treat Morrison, and honor the 2008 recipient of the Anne Dillon Award!
