WINTER SHELTER 2026
Interfaith Winter Shelter - February 17 to March 9
Our community will once again be hosting the Interfaith Winter Shelter in the King Rooms from February 17 to March 9. During this period we will be providing a warm, safe, dry, welcoming place for 60+ neighbors to sleep, as well as delicious home-cooked dinners and breakfasts. Please join our members to volunteer to cook and serve breakfast or dinner. The biggest need is for breakfast volunteers.
It's early (5-7 am), but so rewarding!
Please reach out to Hanna Hart at hanna@harts.net with any questions.

Young Adult Volunteers Wanted
Volunteer with fellow young adults at the Winter Shelter!
Tuesday, February 17, 5PM-8:30PM, at UUSF.
The 20s & 30s Community at UUSF will be cooking and serving dinner to our Winter Shelter guests on Tuesday, 17 February, from 5PM to 8:30PM.

For 35 years, UUSF and other faith communities in the area have collaborated with the city to provide a safe, warm place to sleep, along with dinner and breakfast, to 60-70 of our unhoused neighbors during the coldest, wettest months.

This is a great opportunity to work together as young adult UUs on this important ministry and have fun while doing it! Whether you love chopping vegetables, preparing protein, or ensuring the dishes are spotless, we need you to serve a delicious, nutritious meal to our guests! Feel free to bring along your friends and loved ones.

Emma Wakeling will be in touch with reminders before the dinner.
